This was done through a combination of rigorous real-world testing and dynamometer controlled running of the vehicle to perfect the Blue Optimize eco remap. Hi. My 2.0 D Xtype has developed a vibration / shuddering of varying severities when accelerating. It doesn't happen every time I accelerate but most of the time. I can't seem to find a pattern, it can happen at any speed, although more at higher speeds, and varies on severity. If it is a 2005 with 100k then they can simply argue the turbo has reached the end of its life and they are not responsible. My 2005 X Type Sport 2.2 Diesel Estate needed new ball joints and bushes in the front wishbone arms so I thought I would just replace both arms that came complete with all ball joints/bushes etc. I was told that they have to be specifically for the Sport models as they differ from standard X Type arms Eventually it’ll need removal before the issue becomes terminal. There appears to be half of the engine to remove before the EGR and EGR cooler come out, so If anybody has access to the workshop manual for my year/ engine, that would be most appreciated.
